Accessibility
- You can reach BRUSK through the entrance Dijver 12 or Eekhoutpoort 7. The shortest distance is between the kiss-and-ride at Eekhoutpoort 7 and BRUSK.
- In Bruges, you can park almost anywhere above ground for free and without restrictions with a European parking card for people with disabilities. You can find out more about parking in Bruges for persons with a disability here.
Visitors with wheelchairs or limited mobility
Wheelchair accessibility
- The footpaths on the site and BRUSK art gallery are fully wheelchair accessible.
- BRUSK's spacious lift with voice assistance takes you smoothly to the second floor. Here you will find the two exhibition halls.
- The adapted toilet is wheelchair accessible
- Need help? Our museum assistants will be happy to help you during your visit.
Folding chairs, wheelchairs and rest areas
- The building has several rest stops.
- At the BRUSK front desk, you can borrow free lightweight folding chairs or a wheelchair to use in the museum.
Visitors with visual impairments
- Guide lines outside lead you from the entrances Dijver 12 and Eekhoutpoort 7 to the entrance to BRUSK and BRON.
- Guide lines on the ground floor of BRUSK will direct you to the front desk, toilets, lift, the Aula and BAR BRUSK.
- BRUSK offers contrasting signage and clear pictograms.
Visitors with a hearing impairment
An audio induction loop system is available at the front desk.
The Aula is equipped with an amplifying auditory system.
Companions and assistance dogs
- Companions of persons unable to visit BRUSK independently can enter free of charge. Reserve your free ticket in the ticket shop online or at the front desk.
- Registered assistance dogs are permitted. Are you bringing your guide dog? Please let us know in advance at musea.reservatie@brugge.be. Please note that (other) pets are not permitted.

Visitors with young children
- BRUSK is easily accessible for push chairs. In the push chair parking area in the cloakroom, you can safely leave your push chair when you don't need it.
- Our toilets feature a children's toilet, a changing table and an area where you can breastfeed and warm up bottles in peace.
- You can borrow a push chair to use in the museum, at the BRUSK front desk.
Neurodiverse visitors
BRUSK aims to be a low-stimulus and predictable environment. There is a quiet zone for individuals who want to get away from any stimulus for a while.
